Well, the whole of beautiful, many-sided Crete is at your disposal, and below we have described a few of the activities you can enjoy on this wonderful island, some of them athletic, some educational and some simply entertaining.
On the other hand, you may wish to spend your time enjoying Delfini’s tranquility and its wonderful sunsets. Or would you prefer the best of both worlds, in which case there are activities and pastimes which can be organized at Delfini, right on your own Mediterranean doorstep.

The Beach
Many of Europe’s most beautiful, most family friendly beaches can be found on Crete. Ask us and we’ll find you the one to suit your tastes.
Snorkeling & Scuba Diving
There are numerous quality dive sites around the Cretan shores. You will see some of Crete’s prolific underwater life and some dives open a small window onto 20th and 19th century history, or earlier.
Sailing & Boating
Encountering the beauty of the Mediterranean at close quarters is an unforgettable experience. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned sailor there is something on and around Crete for you.
Climbing & Walking
Crete’s plains, mountains and gorges are among the most beautiful in Greece. Whether you want to challenge yourself, or simply take a stroll through the hills, there’s something there for you, both guided and solo.
Catering at Delfini
If you enjoy cooking for yourself, but would like a (Greek) tip or two, Delfini can help - with a local chef happy to pass on the secrets of the local cuisine to you. If on the other hand you want a night off from the kitchen, or simply want to entertain your friends, we’ll provide whatever takes your culinary fancy, on the spot, from Delfini’s well-equipped kitchen. You can watch and learn too. We also organize foodie weeks at Delfini, where you can meet like-minded souls, enjoy and participate in activities and still take in the delights of Crete.
Painting
If you think you have hidden talent and would like to capture one of Delfini’s memorable sunsets we can arrange a day or two’s tutoring by a local artist. You probably won’t go home to your first exhibition, but at least you will return with a memory you can hang on the wall.
Yoga
Delfini’s yoga retreats are arranged a couple of times a year and are led by an experienced yogi and are accompanied by a healthy but plentiful meal plan. If you are interested, give us a call to discuss our schedule.
